IGas Energy PLC is pleased to announce that the Environment Agency (EA) has issued a Mining
Waste permit for the proposed flow tests on the rock formation called the Pentre Chert at its
existing site in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. The permit has been issued after extensive review of the
company’s plans and arrangements by the EA, and following full public consultation.
